POLITICAL ACTIVIST TURNED AUTHOR DEBUTS BOOK OF LETTERS TO TRUMP

City Limits Publishing welcomes author Kathy Hayes; releases “Dear Oval Office Occupant: Letters to the White House in the Age of Trump”

“‘Dear Oval Office Occupant’ captures the diabolical cynicism of the Trump administration and, in doing so, reminds us that we can never, ever, allow anyone like him to be President ever again. Thank you for your contribution to America.” -Chris Lamb, The Art of the Political Putdown

NASHVILLE, TN, January 2021 — City Limits Publishing is excited to announce the release of “Dear Oval Office Occupant: Letters to the White House in the Age of Trump,” a nonfiction debut by author Kathy Hayes.  Kathy Hayes has a background in business-to-business publishing, but she has always been very active in politics. It is through her political activism that Hayes found her voice as an author.

When Donald Trump was elected president of the United States in 2016, Kathy was stunned.  How could a man with no relevant experience or qualifications be successful in such a position? Additionally, Trump’s outlandish behavior spurred Kathy to make her voice known. She began writing letters to him at the White House.  Through these letters, Kathy illustrates that to remain silent is to remain complicit and we must stand up for what is right and speak up for those who cannot.

“Dear Oval Office Occupant: Letters to the White House in the Age of Trump,” chronicles current events and presidential misdeeds.  The letters also serve as a journal of Kathy’s frustrations and fears.  The letters document an ordinary citizen’s attempt at comprehending an extraordinary presidency.
